In 2018, Water to Thrive is celebrating its 10th anniversary of service, and to commemorate a decade of bringing clean, safe water to rural African communities in need, founder Dick Moeller is planning a 10th anniversary Ethiopia trip.
During the trip, the group will visit at least one project site and community served in each of our 10 years during the trip. We will visit more than 20 Water to Thrive-funded water projects and the communities they serve.
In addition, our group will enjoy the wonders and beauty of Ethiopia. With more than 3,000 years of unbroken history as a nation, Ethiopia is one of the most culturally unique countries in Africa. Our travelers will have many interesting opportunities to learn about its history and culture, including tours of five UN World Heritage/UNESCO sites, other ancient historic sites, schools, and museums.

This trip will be followed immediately by Water to Thrive Executive Director Susanne Wilson’s fundraising expedition to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro. Travelers on the 10th anniversary trip can continue their journey with Dick as he joins Susanne’s team for the eight days in Tanzania. For additional information about joining the pledged fundraiser climb of Mt. Kilimanjaro, please contact Susanne at email@example.com.
